Video card to my tv 27″?
Hi, i know it’s been asked before but,
I have a ATI Radeon Pro 9600XT that’s what my CCC says.
My question is If i use the S.Video cable do I have to change my settings to 600X480 to match the tv resolution? a friend has thiers hooked up and it is very unclear, hard to read,
Basically I want to use my computer as my setup for my arcade in a way. I have mame on here and for those who think that’s illiegal it’s not a law is passed about older games..anyways
I’m sure it’s as basic as setting my monitor1 as tv or detect tv but what is the refresh rate of a tv? i have a trinitron 27″ tube Tv to use with it. If you know a site it would be great. I am posting the question instead of researching cuz i’m going to bed and will check in the morning. First one to get it right gets best answer. Thanks all for anyone who answers.
you want to connect with the s-video cable, then set your tv input to s-vid input, usually there is a Control Panel for the video card, which you probably need to find , try in the control panel or by right clicking on the desktop and going to properties. once in that menu there should be a monitors tab somewhere, you need to select the tv or monitor 2 as the primary. that should work. i believe most screens refresh at 60hz
